What is StillSparkly?
StillSparkly is a US online marketplace just for jewelry, where individuals and small sellers list vintage, pre-owned, costume, fine, and handmade pieces from photos. Listing is free, and sellers pay a flat 8% commission when a piece sells.
A peer-to-peer marketplace for every kind of jewelry: vintage, costume, pre-owned, fine, and handmade, with no minimum value beyond a $4 listing price.
Who it’s for
- People selling jewelry they own: inherited pieces, a vintage or costume collection, or things you no longer wear.
- Vintage and costume jewelry resellers who want a jewelry-only audience and one flat fee.
- Makers selling handmade jewelry, who can mark pieces as handmade so they show a Handmade badge.
- Buyers in the US looking for specific pieces, shown in the seller’s own photos.
When another option may suit you better
StillSparkly is new and smaller than the big marketplaces. It isn’t the right fit for everyone:
- You’re outside the US or need to sell internationally. Etsy and eBay reach buyers worldwide.
- You want the biggest possible audience today. eBay and Etsy have far more shoppers. Many sellers list on several sites at once.
- You want cash today for gold or silver. A local jeweler or gold buyer pays on the spot, usually close to the metal’s melt value.
- You have a high-value signed or certified piece and want buyer-facing authentication. eBay runs an Authenticity Guarantee for eligible fine jewelry, and auction houses handle important pieces.
- You sell by live stream. Whatnot is built for that.

How it compares with other jewelry marketplaces
The other sites built around jewelry resale take fine jewelry only, usually with a minimum value, and charge tiered commissions. StillSparkly accepts every kind of jewelry, from costume and handmade to fine, at one flat rate.
| Site | How it works | What it accepts | Seller fees |
|---|---|---|---|
| StillSparkly | Seller listings, fixed price or offers | Every kind of jewelry: vintage, costume, pre-owned, fine, and handmade; $4 minimum | 8% flat; buyers pay no fee |
| Worthy | Auctions your piece to trade buyers | Fine jewelry; diamonds need a center stone of 1 carat or more | 10–18%, tiered by sale price |
| Louped (formerly I Do Now I Don't) | Seller listings, fixed price or auction | Fine jewelry, mostly engagement rings; $250 minimum | 10–20%, tiered by sale price; buyers pay 2.5% |
| GEMGEM | Seller listings with authentication | Natural fine jewelry, diamonds, and gemstones | 15–25% on pieces under $3,000; lower tiers above that |
Fees and eligibility checked October 2026 on each site’s own pages (linked). They change, so confirm before you sell.
If you have a high-value diamond or signed fine piece, those specialist sites (and their authentication) can be the better choice. For general marketplaces, see how fees compare with Etsy, eBay, and others.

How selling works
- Create a free account and connect payouts through Stripe (identity check, US bank account or debit card).
- Add photos of your piece. The listing tools suggest a title, description, details, and price. They are estimates and can be wrong, so you review and edit everything before publishing. You can also text photos to list by SMS, or import existing eBay listings.
- Publish. A new seller’s listings are reviewed by a person before going live; after that, automated checks send suspicious listings (for example, likely dropshipped items) to manual review.
- When it sells, print the prepaid USPS label and ship within 3 business days.
- Get paid: earnings (the sale price minus 8%) unlock 3 days after delivery, and you withdraw through Stripe.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a marketplace just for jewelry?
Yes. StillSparkly is a US peer-to-peer marketplace for every kind of jewelry, including vintage, costume, pre-owned, fine, and handmade pieces, with a flat 8% commission. Other jewelry-focused sites such as Worthy, Louped, and GEMGEM accept fine jewelry only, often with a minimum value, and charge tiered commissions of roughly 10–25% on most pieces (as of October 2026).
Is StillSparkly legit?
StillSparkly is an online marketplace run by Sparkly Empire LLC, based in San Francisco. Payments go through Stripe, sellers verify their identity with Stripe before they can be paid, and orders paid for on StillSparkly are covered by Buyer Protection: buyers have 3 days from delivery to open a case if an item is significantly not as described. It launched in March 2026, so it is a young, smaller marketplace than Etsy or eBay.
How much does it cost to sell on StillSparkly?
Listing is free. When an item sells, StillSparkly takes a flat 8% commission on the item price (not on shipping or tax), so the seller keeps 92%. There are no listing fees, no monthly subscription, and no separate payment-processing fee. Buyers pay no extra fee.
Can I sell handmade jewelry on StillSparkly?
Yes. Handmade jewelry is welcome alongside vintage and pre-owned pieces. Sellers can mark a piece as handmade, and it shows a Handmade badge. Mass-produced or dropshipped items are not allowed.
Can I sell from outside the United States?
Not yet. Sellers need a US bank account and US tax ID to receive payouts through Stripe, and orders ship only within the 50 US states.
Does StillSparkly authenticate or appraise jewelry?
No. StillSparkly does not inspect, test, appraise, or authenticate items; sellers describe their own pieces and agree that they are accurately described and not counterfeit. If an item arrives counterfeit or significantly not as described, Buyer Protection applies. For a piece worth thousands, an independent appraisal before selling is worth paying for.
How does shipping work?
The buyer pays a flat shipping rate (currently $6.50 for most pieces). Once an item sells, the seller prints a prepaid USPS Ground Advantage label from their dashboard and ships within 3 business days. Sellers can choose to offer free shipping on a listing and cover the cost themselves.
When do sellers get paid?
Earnings become available to withdraw 3 days after the order is delivered (or 14 days after shipping if delivery is never confirmed). Sellers withdraw to a bank account or debit card through Stripe, with a $1 minimum.
