Founding Sellers Wanted (Zero Commission for Six Months)

StillSparkly is recruiting founding sellers, and the offer is simple: zero commission for the first six months.

Why StillSparkly exists

Pre-loved jewelry doesn’t have a real home in the resale ecosystem. Vintage cocktail rings, fine diamond studs, contemporary brands like Mejuri or Kendra Scott, signed designer pieces, costume jewelry from a grandmother’s drawer. All of it gets treated as an afterthought category on the platforms it’s currently scattered across.

Fine jewelry consignment sites only take serious designer pieces and skim heavy fees. General resale platforms have search filters built for clothing, which means a buyer looking for a specific stone or chain length gets buried in unrelated results. The whole category has been quietly underserved for years.

StillSparkly is a marketplace built specifically for jewelry. Any kind, any era, any price point.

The founding seller offer

Zero commission on every sale for six months. Sellers keep the full sale amount minus standard payment processing fees. After the founding period, the standard commission is 10% (half of Poshmark’s 20%, less than eBay’s ~13%, and without the stacked listing and ad fees Etsy adds on). The founding seller deal is a one-time offer that won’t be repeated for new sellers later.

Why sellers are choosing StillSparkly

Lower fees than the obvious alternatives. 0% during the founding period, 10% after. Poshmark takes 20% above $15. eBay takes around 13%. Etsy stacks listing fees, transaction fees, payment processing, and offsite ads on top of each other.

Jewelry only. Listings aren’t buried under sweatshirts, electronics, or vintage lamps. Every buyer on the site is here for jewelry, which means listings get seen by the right audience instead of an algorithm trained on clothing resale.

Filters and search built for jewelry. Buyers search by metal type, metal color, stone, length, ring size, era, and style. The same filters that don’t exist on Poshmark or Mercari are the default here.

Listing flow that takes under a minute. Snap a photo and AI writes the title, description, and attributes automatically. Most sellers list a piece in under a minute (vs. 10 to 15 minutes per listing on eBay). Sellers edit if they want, publish if they don’t.

Built-in trust and logistics. Buyers pay at checkout, and sellers get paid automatically once tracking confirms delivery. Discounted shipping labels and tracking are built in. Fixed pricing means no negotiation games.

What founding sellers commit to

Listing inventory. Even a few pieces makes a meaningful difference at this stage.

Sellers who have a backlog sitting in Poshmark or Mercari drafts can typically move it to StillSparkly faster than rewriting it again.

Founding sellers are also encouraged to share feedback as they use the platform. Product changes ship weekly based on what early sellers report.

What to expect

The platform is early. Search will get smarter, the seller dashboard will get better, payouts will get faster. None of those things are broken right now, but all of them will be better in three months than they are today.

In exchange for that early-adopter patience, founding sellers get a deal nobody who joins later will get.
